Culinary delight
In my spare time I actually quite like to cook. So when my girlfriend; Ellie, came around for tea I made a warm rocket salad. It's more difficult than it sounds. There's pancetta, red onion, balsamic vinegar, pine nuts and parmesan. Lovely jubbely.

reposting just like i said i would
so the party i went to last night turned out to be alright but not in the ways i expected.
pre drinks was probably the most conservative ever, we sat down with lemonade and red thai curry listening to ed sheeran. seriously.
we got picked up and when we got there, no sooner as the host was there he had left me and one of my mates; max, to guard the helm. not a too troublesome job considering the situation.
as the boys came back with shots glasses the drinking began, jagerbombs were the order of the day which i wasn't complaining about. when the drink was in flow and the rest of the party had arrived (all 7 of us) things got better. not a huge party more like a small gathering but nonetheless it was ok.
by ten o'clock the host was battered, he was trying to be a 'man' and ended up having straight consecutive shots of jager. which in truth was fairly impressive.
the night ended with us walking through town in the rain to be picked up in tesco car park. JOY.
so as a tribute to the host -

rwc 2011 - ma'a making movements
so as you guys 'should' all know, the rugby world cup came to an end last week. what a tournament! new zealand winning the webb ellis cup with three of four their fly half's out, quade coming up injured after a poor tournament, george north only 19 making huge headlines and again a very unimpressive england.
ma'a nonu stood out for me this world cup. not just becuase of those crazy dreads, but his kicking and ball carrying. granted, there isn't many people who would even think about tackling the 6ft, nearly 17 stone wellington lions centre but nonetheless he had a stormer! a well deserved world cup win in my opinion, after the 24 year wait.

scott mescudi
so when someone asks me who my favourite musicians is, i tell them kid cudi.
the response is 'oh yeah like day and night and memories with david guetta?'
nope, those are probably my least favourite songs. seriously check him out, if you like ratatat, common, the pharcyde etc. you are bound to love him.
there is just something about the mellow and laid back beat that just makes me happy.

oh my god.
so i bought the november issue of fhm yesterday and the cover girl is naya rivera. now i don't watch glee but i think after these i might tune in now and again!
'don't stop believin'. haha
boring start i know.
i like to think i'm a pretty normal 18 year old but i guess there a few things that make me different from everyone else. so i'm going to try and put the things that make me different up on here rather than the same old shit you see alot of the time.
firstly i am a sucker for an inspirational quote- this one isn't actually a quote, it's a lyric from a kid cudi song: in my dreams (cudder anthem)
"Long before we know ourselves,Our paths are already set in stone. Some may never figure out their purpose in life, And some will. There are a lot of us who are caught up in this hell we all live in,Content with being blinded by rules and judgement. We live in a world where it's more okay to follow than to lead.In this world being a leader is trouble for the system we are all accustomed to.Being a leader in this day and age is being a threat. Not many people stood up against the system we all call life,But toward the end of our first ten years into the millennium we heard a voice.A voice who was speaking to us from the underground for some time.A voice who spoke of vulnerabilities and other human emotions and issues never before heard so vividly and honest. This is the story of a young man who not only believed in himself,But his dreams too.
This is the story of The Man On The Moon."

it's a long one but i like it.
